The Joint Commission NRW - Israel
The joint commission was established during the visit to Israel of the
former state premier of North-Rhine Westphalia (NRW), Mr. Peer
Steinbrück, in May 2004. It was designed to achieve a bilateral
networking platform between Israel's and NRW's universities, research
institutes and companies in the field of research and technology. One
of the main goals of the joint commission is to regularly exchange
information and experience, and to identify measures to be taken in
order to improve cooperation.
